Shared Hope has been working hard to change laws and policies across the nation to stop ensure child victims of sex trafficking receive protective services.
As a result of the efforts of our state report cards and policy initiatives, we’ve seen 31 states and the District of Columbia change their laws to prohibit the criminalization of child sex trafficking victims for prostitution.
But we cannot rest, and we will not, until the remaining 19 states properly protect victims and hold their exploiters accountable. This is a crucial priority of our Institute for Justice and Advocacy.
No child chooses a life of violence and victimization. No child should be judged a criminal because of her exploitation and brutalization. Your support for Shared Hope helps fight the exploitation of children by the sex trafficking industry.
Give today to help us pursue justice for child-victims, punishment for predators, prevention against future exploitation, and restoration for survivors!
