Shared Hope is doing more than altering the way people talk about “trauma-informed care.”
We’re taking action, step by step, to make a difference on multiple fronts at the state and federal levels:
- Shared Hope’s Institute for Justice & Advocacy in Washington, D.C., is where powerful change is taking root — and spreading nationwide. It’s the epicenter of our training, research, and advocacy efforts, where we’re fighting to change the laws that further exploit trafficking survivors.
- Furthermore, our unique Report Cards on Child & Youth Sex Trafficking are a vital part of this reform — which we’ve taken to a whole new level through an Advanced Legislative Framework, urging states to focus more deeply and more effectively on victim protections and services.
Far too many children are still susceptible to trafficking … far too many child victims are still harmed by the system that should be helping them.
But as you give today, you’ll empower us to continue advocating for laws that prevent trafficking, strengthen protections for survivors, and offer children and adults real, tangible hope and healing for tomorrow. Thank you for standing with us to develop and educate others on a truly victim-centered approach to justice!
