Meet Maiya…
She has a whole new life with hope for the future.
And it’s not even Christmas Day yet!
She was just a young teen when her cousin began “renting” her out to his friends — then strangers — anyone who could pay. Her home life was tumultuous: raised by a single mother in extreme poverty. Maiya* learned at a young age to go without food, without adequate clothing, without the warmth of love, without hope.
Maiya is now in safe shelter at our Village of Hope in Nepal, where she is wrapped in protection and love: there’s food to eat at every meal — she goes to school — she plays soccer and loves to bake in our kitchen.
Her hope has been restored, by God’s grace and thanks to many generous friends.
Maiya is one of many children that is need of help and life restoration. For the sake of their continued healing and support … and for the countless thousands we’ve yet to help and restore … we ask you to stand with us in these final days of the year.
What a great way to end the year … knowing somewhere, here in America or around the world, a young boy or girl is safe, loved, and cared for because of you!
