Christmas has a unique way of reminding us of the wonder of childhood. It lives in twinkling lights, cherished traditions, hopeful anticipation, and the simple joy of feeling safe and loved. Every child deserves that same wonder, a life filled with laughter, imagination, and the freedom to dream about the future. Childhood should be a season of discovery, where children are protected, cherished, and given every opportunity to thrive.

Yet for far too many children, trafficking steals that wonder. Instead of feeling safe, they face exploitation. Instead of freedom, they experience fear. Instead of dreaming about what they might become, they are forced to fight for survival.

This year, at Shared Hope International’s annual Christmas Breakfast, celebrating The Wonder of Childhood, we will gather to honor the resilience of survivors and celebrate the impact we can make together in protecting children from trafficking and restoring hope to those who have been exploited.

You’ll hear inspiring stories of lives transformed through prevention, restoration, and justice initiatives across the United States and around the world. You’ll also learn about the important work ahead as we continue striving toward a future where every child can experience the safety, freedom, love, healing, and endless possibilities that childhood was meant to hold.

Through powerful stories, music, and the warmth of community, you’ll discover how you can help preserve and restore the wonder of childhood for vulnerable children everywhere.

About the Hotel

The Heathman Lodge is conveniently located in central Vancouver at 7801 NE Greenwood Dr, Vancouver, WA 98662

The Heathman Lodge offers complimentary onsite parking. Street side parking is available at no cost. Parking in local Business/Office/Retail lots is prohibited during normal business hours Monday – Friday/ 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Non-permitted parking in these lots will be subject to tow at the owner’s expense.

About the Event

We will begin dismissing tables for the breakfast buffet promptly at 8:00 AM. We encourage you to arrive a little early to check in, find your seat, and enjoy the festive holiday atmosphere.

The morning will include a complimentary breakfast, followed by a program filled with impactful survivor stories and inspiring updates on Shared Hope’s work to.

The program will conclude at approximately 9:30 AM. At that time, Shared Hope’s Founder and President, Linda Smith, will be available for a special book signing.

Is this event free to atend?

Yes! Though very merry donations are appreciated. Funds raised by this event will directly support direct services for survivors of sex trafficking. You can make a donation here.

How do I make a donation?

You can make a donation here.  You will receive a receipt for tax purposes via email and mailing address on file. All donations are deeply appreciated and help sustain our work to restore and empower survivors of sex trafficking.

How do I RSVP?

While you can book your tickets online, you can also reserve your seats by phone at 360.693.8100, or by emailing RSVP@SharedHope.org by Monday, November 23, 2026.

Can we stay overnight at the Heathman Lodge?

Yes, we’ve heard some guests look forward to staying the night before.

Rooms are available at The Heathman Lodge at a rate of $119/night.  For reservations, please call (360) 254-3100 or visit this link to secure a room.  Just let them know that you are with Shared Hope.

The rate is honored when you mention either Shared Hope or the event at booking.

The Heathman Lodge RESERVATIONS PROCEDURE

Room Reservations may be made by calling 360-254-3100 or visiting this link. Should you find it necessary to change your plans; please inform The Heathman within 24 hours prior to our 4:00 p.m. check in time to avoid a cancellation charge.

These rates do not include the current Vancouver City Occupancy Tax of 10.5% and a $2.00 per room, per night County Assessment or any other fees imposed by the City or State at the time of your event. GUESTROOMS WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED UNTIL THEY ARE INDIVIDUALLY RESERVED AND HELD WITH A CREDIT CARD.
