Training
Equipping communities nationwide with practical, evidence-based training to prevent trafficking, respond appropriately when victims are identified, and pursue justice alongside survivors.
For more than 25 years, Shared Hope International has equipped communities nationwide with practical, evidence-based training to prevent trafficking, respond appropriately when victims are identified, and pursue justice alongside survivors.
Effective anti-trafficking work begins with training that is informed by those with lived experience. Without survivor-informed guidance, professionals risk misidentifying victims, causing harm, or missing critical opportunities for intervention.
What sets our training apart is our commitment to centering survivor expertise at every stage—ensuring our e-courses and customized trainings prepare social workers, educators, healthcare professionals, attorneys, and law enforcement to recognize and respond to domestic minor sex trafficking with accuracy, compassion, and accountability.
The White Van PSA
This is a FREE awareness tool that is meant to shift the mindsets of parents and safe adults to help protect the kids in their lives as they use connected devices. We often forget to talk to kids and young people about ‘stranger danger’ online and wanted to use the familiar symbol of the white van to translate this concept to keeping kids safe on social media and gaming.
“I hear this ‘white van’ myth over and over again. We need to understand, the most dangerous place for an American child is alone, in their bedroom, with a digital device.”
