The Path to Freedom is a campaign to support restorative aftercare for victims of sex trafficking in the United States.
With any donation of $250 or more, a stone with your name inscribed will be placed in the stone pathway at one of our U.S. shelter partners. Each stone will serve as a lasting reminder to the women who walk the path of the many individuals who support them in their journey toward freedom.
Terry’s House is an independent living home for women aged 18-24 years old. The beautifully renovated home is located in the Pacific Northwest, nestled among the cedars, ferns, and wildflowers of a sweeping country property. Donated to Shared Hope by a Defender, it is sheltered, safe, and protected from those who trafficked and abused them, yet within easy reach of community colleges and job opportunities. Women will receive counseling in a loving, supportive environment that offers them the chance to develop life skills and financial independence.
Terry’s House is more than a 30-day recovery program, it is a place of refuge for victimized women to start over, rebuild their shattered lives, and begin to realize their dreams.
Together, we must raise start-up and day-to-day operating costs in order to operate this wonderful pilot project … the first of what we hope are many more homes of restoration to be sponsored in the United States. We need your help to provide a caring and equipped staff, vocational training, counseling and care, food, and education! Our goal is to open this fall.
If you would like to be a part of providing homes and a hope for trafficked victims in the United States, please give to the Path to Freedom.
